In other music-related 2024 election news, following Tuesday night’s debate between Kamala Harris and her opponent in the presidential race, former president Donald Trump, pop superstar Taylor Swift issued her official endorsement of Harris via a post on Instagram. Per NPR, the post, which currently has more than 11 million likes, drove more than 300,000 visitors to the voter registration website Vote.gov. Trump later appeared to respond to Swift’s endorsement of his opponent, posting in all capital letters on his Truth Social account, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
